I like understanding how things work. Then making them work better.

My work moves between architecture and implementation. I've helped teams build cloud platforms at AWS, financial infrastructure at OneSpan and National Bank of Canada, and commerce systems at SSENSE.

Today, I'm CTO at ATEK, working on environmental monitoring for life sciences. It's a setting where a reading, an alert, and a decision all have consequences outside the software.

Two products I care about.

Alongside ATEK, I build EyeRehab, which brings structure to vestibular and eye exercise practice, and CoProd, a native macOS app that brings scripting, editing, and publishing into one workflow.

Both start with a problem I want to understand well enough to make something useful. I stay close to the work, from product decisions to the software people use.
